Today was our super fun, family friendly Car Scavenger Hunt! We had our donation thermometer at the ready that Carrie made and our balloons in place...
We were all ready to go when our first family arrived.
Ken and Tina were our first willing participants! They are very well known for their game playing, so we were really excited that they came to join in! We gave them their questions and directions and off the went!
Up next were the Seubert Family! They were all ready to go when the clock was set! Up next, the Wilson Family, minus Mom Carrie, who hung back to help me. Then were the Dunlap Family, including Mom Michele! Last but by no means least were the Smith Family.
They all set out on their adventure! Back at 'camp' we were following the progress of our participants via texts, calls and Facebook posts!
One of the 'tasks' was to get a family photo with the Washington State Mascot....
First back were the Seubert Family, followed by the Grants, closely followed by the Dunlaps and then the Wilson's. Unfortunately, the Smith had to conceded due to tired babies!
Once I had counted all the points and worked out the times, we had the results!
Overall 1st place - Dunlap Family - 75 points and 1 hr 46mins
1st place - points - Grant Family 75 points
We had a really fun time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! This may have to be a yearly event!
We all BBQ'd afterwards and hung out in the sun.
